I had a goldfish called Rocky when I was a student, who was named as such so that there could be Rocky II, Rocky III, Balboa, Creed etc.
Ironically I had a friend adopt him when I left the country, and the little bugger is still alive, must be 6 years old now!

I’ve never talked about this story because it’s too traumatizing. But here it is. When I was little we left my fish Dennis at my aunt’s house while I was out of town. Well... Apparently she killed my fish, and my mother bought a new one, and didn’t tell me. Sobs. She lied to me. I only found out just recently.
